User Defined Lists

  • System defined lists are created and maintained by the system to automatically keep track of inactive patients and accounts, patients without recall, posting pending, and unbilled insurance.  These lists have a list Type of "System".   When a list has been created by the system, it can't be changed by a user.  To remove someone from the list, remove the condition that caused them to be on the list in the first place.  For example, to remove someone from the Patients without recall  list, simply set up a recall date for that patient.
  • Who, When, Why? Do you have User Defined Lists, but don't know who created them, when they were created, or why they were created?  You can Select List Notes to document these things for each list.  Take the mystery out of your User Defined Lists!
"Since we bought [a] Datacon [system] in the early 80's, we have never had a day without Datacon up and running. That is 20 years of great service," Dr. Victoria Moore, Endodontic Associates - San Mateo.
