Your
user password is of vital importance to the internal
security and control of your practice. A password should
only be known by its user. All transactions entered by a
user should only be done while logged in under their own
password. It is important that all staff members understand
that the use of their own password is protection for them as
well as for the doctor.
We strongly suggest that
every month or so, everyone, including the doctor, change
their passwords for added security.
In addition, did you know that when you first
add a new user to the system, the password defaults to the
user's initials? Once the new user goes into Datacon for
the first time, they should go back and change this to a
unique password. |
