How to track who Scheduled an
Appointment |
 |
|
|
|
In System Stuff, Select
Miscellaneous Options
Under Audit Controls, you have two
options: 1) "Do not record changes to appointments",
or 2) "Add notes to scheduled appointments to track
changes"
If
you select the #2 option, when you are on the
patient's appointment and select Edit Notes, the
initials of who scheduled the appointment and when the
appointment was scheduled are displayed.

In the example above, the appointment was
first scheduled on 1/6/03 at 8 am, by BUD on 9/28/02. It
was then rescheduled to 1/7/03 at 8 am, by TB on 1/3/03.
Each time an appointment is rescheduled and
asterisk (*) will be added to the note. If there are two
asterisks, you know the appointment has been rescheduled two
times.
