How
to Deactivate Accounts & Patients
Patients and accounts can
now be inactivated individually or as a group based on
common criteria. To inactivate single names, the
steps are:

Search
for the name on your Patient and Account Selection
list

Attempt to delete the
name using Shift/Line Del. You will get a
message telling you that you cannot delete a name with
transactions.

The next question asks
if you would like to inactivate the patient or account.
Answer Y.
To inactivate names as a
group, the steps are

On the Main Menu,
press Search
-
Type "inactive".

Select NACMNT -
manipulate inactive accounts and patients.

From here you can use
the standard Turboscan screens to select groups of
accounts or patients to either inactivate or reactivate.
